Design and Development Website of Prachinburi Provincial Agencies

Abstract

This research originated from the observation that the website of Prachinburi Province is outdated, lacks interactivity, and contains errors that require modern knowledge to rectify. The objectives were twofold: 1) design and develop the website for the provincial organization in Prachinburi province, and 2) study user satisfaction with the website. For the website design of the organization, the creators have been actively involved in the process, starting from studying the trends of modern web design in 2023 and incorporating the theoretical foundations of government website standards, version 2.0, into the project's deliverables before designing the framework. The research concluded that there should be improvements in the presentation format of the new website. When measured against the Government Website Standards, version 2.0, the website scored 23 out of 30 topics, equivalent to 76.6%, which is a 3.3% improvement over the old website (73.3%). Regarding the study of user satisfaction with the website, a sample group of 20 users from the provincial office website was analyzed. The highest satisfaction score obtained was for the modern appearance of the new website, with an average score of 4.62 and a standard deviation of 0.61.
