การพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการรับนักศึกษาวิชาโทด้วยกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและประเมินคุณภาพระบบสารสนเทศสำหรับการรับนักศึกษาวิชาโท คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ โดยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ PAOR กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วย อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ประธานหลักสูตร และเจ้าหน้าที่วิชาการ จำนวน 22 คน นักศึกษาปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 12 คน และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ จำนวน 3 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง แบบบันทึกการสังเกตการณ์ และแบบประเมินคุณภาพระบบ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ด้านการพัฒนาระบบ ได้บูรณาการกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการตามวงจร PAOR ร่วมกับการวิเคราะห์และวงจรพัฒนาระบบ SDLC ภายใต้สถาปัตยกรรมระบบแบบ 3 ระดับ (3-Tier Architecture) และฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ โดยพัฒนาด้วยภาษา PHP และระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูล MySQL ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีลักษณะเด่นคือ การรองรับการพิจารณาอนุมัติแบบลำดับขั้น (Sequential Approval Workflow) ประกอบด้วยฟังก์ชันหลัก ได้แก่ การสมัครออนไลน์ การพิจารณาอนุมัติผ่านระบบ การติดตามสถานะแบบเรียลไทม์ การแจ้งเตือนอัตโนมัติทางอีเมล และการส่งออกรายงานในรูปแบบ Excel ซึ่งระบบสามารถลดระยะเวลาการดำเนินงานจาก 10-14 วัน เหลือเพียง 3-5 วัน และลดการใช้เอกสารกระดาษลงได้ถึงร้อยละ 80 (2) ด้านผลการประเมินคุณภาพระบบ โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณารายด้านเรียงตามลำดับคะแนนเฉลี่ยจากมากไปน้อย พบว่า ด้านความปลอดภัยของข้อมูลและการควบคุมการเข้าถึง มีผลประเมินในระดับมากที่สุดเป็นอันดับแรก รองลงมาคือ ด้านประสิทธิภาพและการทำงานของระบบ และด้านความง่ายต่อการใช้งานและการออกแบบส่วนติดต่อผู้ใช้ ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดเท่ากัน ตามด้วยด้านการทำงานและความต้องการของผู้ใช้ ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดเช่นกัน
