This research aimed to: 1) develop a three-dimensional city adventure game entitled “3D City Adventure” by simulating the environment of Sikhoraphum Castle in Surin Province to promote learning of local history and cultural heritage; and 2) evaluate the satisfaction of players with the developed three-dimensional city adventure game simulating Sikhoraphum Castle. The game was developed using Roblox Studio as the primary tool for creating the virtual environment, together with the Luau programming language for developing the gameplay systems and Blender for creating three-dimensional models of objects and architectural elements within the game. The game consisted of an area exploration system, an ancient artefact fragment collection system, a historical question-and-answer system, and a time-constrained ancient mural restoration mini-game. The target group consisted of 30 participants selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments comprised the developed three-dimensional game and a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the developed game operated according to the defined scope, with key systems including exploration, interaction, fragment collection, a question-and-answer system, and an ancient mural restoration mini-game. The overall satisfaction of the players was at a good level ( = 4.09, S.D. = 0.97). The game system and controls received the highest mean score, followed by usefulness and value, and game design, respectively. These findings indicate that the developed game can be used as an interactive learning medium for conveying knowledge of local history and cultural heritage.
