ผลของการลดทอนความรุนแรงในวิดีโอเกมสำหรับการแข่งขันกีฬาอีสปอร์ต กับการยอมรับเชิงนโยบายในสถานศึกษาของประเทศไทย

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปริมาณร่วมกับการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้การลดทอนความรุนแรงในวิดีโอเกมอีสปอร์ต 2) เพื่อประเมินผลกระทบของการลดทอนความรุนแรงในวิดีโอเกมอีสปอร์ต 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของลักษณะประชากรศาสตร์ต่อการรับรู้และผลกระทบของการลดทอนความรุนแรงในวิดีโอเกมอีสปอร์ต และ 4) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางเชิงนโยบายสำหรับการใช้วิดีโอเกมอีสปอร์ตที่มีความรุนแรงในสถานศึกษาของประเทศไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้จากสถานศึกษาที่มีการสอนหรือจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาอีสปอร์ต ประกอบด้วยนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 200 คน และนักศึกษาปริญญาตรี จำนวน 200 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 400 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย และกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญเชิงคุณภาพเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่เป็นอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยจำนวน 3 ท่าน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การรับรู้การลดทอนความรุนแรงอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยด้านความเข้าใจความรุนแรงเป็นด้านที่รับรู้ได้ดีที่สุด ขณะที่ด้านการรับรู้การลดทอนความรุนแรงอยู่ในระดับต่ำ 2) ผลกระทบของการลดทอนความรุนแรงในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยผลกระทบเชิงบวกด้านสังคมและด้านทัศนคติ แต่ด้านพฤติกรรมมีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด 3) เพศชายและเพศหญิงมีการรับรู้และประเมินผลกระทบในภาพรวมไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ แต่พบความแตกต่าง ได้แก่ ความเข้าใจ การรับรู้ และพฤติกรรม ขณะที่นักเรียนมัธยมปลายและนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญในทุกด้าน และ 4) ข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายจากการสัมภาษณ์พบว่า สถานศึกษาควรมีระบบการควบคุมความเหมาะสม ตามมาตรฐานสากลหรือพัฒนาขึ้นเอง ควบคู่การควบคุมผ่านการออกแบบ ทั้งควรมีนโยบายคัดเลือกวิดีโอเกมอีสปอร์ตและมีครูกำกับดูแล รวมถึงการอบรมให้ข้อมูลผลกระทบทางจิตใจเพื่อเสริมสร้างความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ จะช่วยให้ผู้เรียนแยกแยะโลกสมมติกับโลกจริงได้อย่างเหมาะสม
