Development Of English Learning Achievement Using Flashcards of Grade 6 Students at Ban Pa Hung School

Abstract

This research aimed to compare the learning outcomes in English language proficiency regarding the topic "My Family" among 6th-grade students at Baan Pa Hung School. The study involved 16 students randomly selected from this school located in Wiang Sa district, Nan province. The researchers utilized tailored tools such as a learning management plan, outcome assessment tests, and statistical methods including mean, standard deviation, and dependent t-test.

          The research findings indicated a statistically significant improvement in the English language proficiency scores related to the topic "My Family" among the 6th-grade students during the second semester of the academic year 2566 (using a pre-test/post-test design). Before the intervention, the average score was 7.53 with a standard deviation of 2.475, whereas after the intervention, the average score increased to 15.93 with a standard deviation of 3.283. This improvement was significant at the 0.05 level of significance.
