Abstract
The Study of the Need to Study and Satisfaction of Graduate users of Bachelor of Art Program in Music, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University is the Survey Research conducted by collecting data from document, research works, survey of problems, the needs to continue studying in higher education acquired from 40 students under the service area of Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University including Ubon Ratchathani province, Amnat charoen Province, Sisaket Province, and Yasothon province, and also concepts and theories to be used for designing the curriculum that meet the needs of the students and is suitable for musical education management. The results of the research were as follows.
- Male students’ need to study in Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University was higher than male students whose hometown was in Ubon Ratchathani Province followed by Sisaket, Amnat Charoen, and Yasothon provinces, respectively. The students applied to study in round 1 the most, followed by round 2, round 4, and round 3, respectively. Additionally, they chose to practice the guitar the most, followed by keyboard instruments, western stringed instruments, brass wind instruments, and woodwind instruments, respectively. The reasons of studying in Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University were close to home, convenient transportation, high-potential staff, the campus was ready to provide education and organize activities for students to perform throughout the academic year.
- The satisfaction of graduate users of the Bachelor of Arts Program in music, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, in all aspects was averagely at the highest level (= 4.71, S.D. = 0.49). The satisfaction towards the aspects of morality and ethics was at the highest level. (= 4.82, S.D. = 0.43)
