Participatory Communication to the Four Paths of Accomplishment in the Academic Administration of Educational Institutions

Abstract

This article aims to present knowledge and practical guidelines for improving the quality of educational institution management and integrating the concepts of participatory communication and the Four Paths of Accomplishment (Iddhipada 4) in academic administration of educational institutions. The objectives are to study 1) academic administration in educational institutions, 2) participatory communication in academic administration, and 3) participatory communication in academic administration in educational institutions according to the Four Paths of Accomplishment for effective education management and student development. The results of the study on participatory communication in academic administration are as follows: 1) Chanda (Aspiration): Satisfaction with vision. Participatory communication driven by Chanda leads to creative cooperation; 2) Viriya (Effort): Continuous effort in planning. Participatory communication using Viriya as a driving force helps smooth academic operations and problem-solving; 3) Citta (Thoughtfulness): Regular attention to evaluation. Participatory communication driven by Citta makes stakeholders feel valued and important in the decision-making process; and 4) Vimamsa (Investigation): Consideration of information from multiple perspectives. Participatory communication driven by Vimamsa leads to efficient decision-making in academic affairs.
