A CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS OF TEACHERS’ DIGITAL LITERACY UNDER THE INSTITUTE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION NORTHERN REGION 3

This research aimed to analyze the confirmatory factors and examine the construct validity of digital literacy of teachers under the Northern Vocational Education Institute 3. The sample group consisted of 342 teachers under the Northern Vocational Education Institute 3 using stratified sampling. The research instrument was a single questionnaire, distributed via Google Forms, which assessed the digital literacy of teachers under the institute of vocational education northern region 3. The content validity of the instrument ranged from 0.67 to 1.00, and the reliability coefficient was 0.941. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and confirmatory factor analysis via the Mplus program.
The research findings revealed that the digital literacy measurement model of teachers under the institute of vocational education northern region 3 fit the empirical data well (X2 = 60.469, df = 44, p-value = .0501, CFI = .995, TLI = .987, RMSEA = .033, SRMR = .033). The non-significant p-value (p = .0501), high CFI and TLI values (CFI = .995, TLI = .987), and low RMSEA and SRMR values (RMSEA = .033, SRMR = .033) all indicate a good model fit. The digital literacy of teachers under the institute of vocational education northern region 3 consisted of four components 1) Effective and balanced use of digital technology (0.733) 2) Creative communication and collaboration in the digital world (0.703) 3) Data protection, digital security, and rights (0.894), and 4) Ethical and responsible use of digital technology (0.982).
