Entrepreneurial Competencies of Learners in the BANI World

This article aims to present the concept of entrepreneurial competencies for learners
in the 21st century, providing educators and school administrators with a comprehensive
perspective on educational management. It highlights the importance of curriculum
development, instructional design, and assessment practices that align with fostering

entrepreneurial potential in students. The development of entrepreneurial competencies
comprises six essential elements 1) initiative and innovation, 2) problem-solving and systems
thinking, 3) flexibility and adaptability, 4) communication and collaboration, 5) entrepreneurial
spirit, and 6) self-awareness and lifelong learning. The article emphasizes that building these
competencies, skills, and knowledge is crucial for learners to succeed as future entrepreneurs.
It also underscores that such development requires effort, determination, commitment, and
time. Without intrinsic motivation, the path to entrepreneurial success becomes significantly
more challenging.
