Basic Thai Painting Skill Development by drawing Himmaphan Animals Set in Basic Thai Painting Subject (20301-2003) for Vocational Education Level 1 of Fine Arts Program, Chiangrai Vocational College.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to determine the effectiveness of the Himmapan animal structure writing skill training exercises in the Basic Thai Painting course (code 20301-2003) for first-year students pursuing a Vocational Certificate Level, with efficiency according to the criteria of 80/80. 2) to compare academic achievement before and after studying with the practice exercises of writing Himmapan animal picture structures and 3) to study students' satisfaction with the exercise in writing the structure of pictures of Himmapan animals. This research is an action research to solve the problem of students lacking skills in writing the structure of pictures of Himmapan animals. The sample groups used in this research are: 1st year Vocational Certificate students, Fine Arts majors at Chiang Rai Vocational College, comprising 18 individuals selected purposively. The statistics used in data analysis include descriptive statistics such as averages.

        The results of the research found that 1) the practice exercises for writing the Himmapan animal picture structure were effective according to the specified criteria 80/80 2) Academic achievement after studying was significantly higher than before studying at the .05 level and 3) student satisfaction with the practice exercises in writing Himmapan animal picture structures in the Basic Thai Painting course found that the pictures Included at the highest level (=4.88).
