The Development of Learning Achievement Using Active Learning in Conjunction with Geographic Processes on The Topic of North America For Grade 9 Students Under The Jurisdiction of The Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Ubon Ratchathani – Amnat Charoen

Abstract

     The objectives of this research were 1) To study the effectiveness of the Active Learning plan combined with the geography process of the Social Studies subject on the topic of North America for Mathayom 3 students according to the criteria 80/80. 2) compare the learning achievement by using Enthusiastic Activity with Geographic Processes on the Continent of North America for Matthayomsuksa 3 Students before and after learning, and 3) study the satisfaction of students towards learning by comparing the learning achievement by using Enthusiastic Activity with Geographic Processes on the Continent of North America. The sample group used in this research was Mathayom 3/9 students of Narinukul School, Ubon Ratchathani-Amnat Charoen Secondary Education Service Area Office, 40 students, who were selected by cluster random sampling using the classroom as the sampling unit. The research instruments consisted of 1) 10 learning management plans with an average appropriateness of 4.64, which was at the highest level, 2) 30-item achievement tests with a difficulty level between 0.25-0.58, a discrimination power between 0.25-0.55, and a reliability of 0.92. and 3) a 15-item student satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The results of the efficiency test of the Active Learning activity plan combined with the geography process in the Social Studies subject on the Continent of North America for Mathayom 3 students were 84.84/85.67, which is higher than the specified criteria. 2. Student academic achievement using active learning activities combined with geography processes. After studying is higher than before studying. Statistically significant at the .05 level. 3. Students are satisfied with learning by using Active Learning activities and the geography process in North America. The overall picture is at the highest level.
