The Effect of the Emotional Intelligence of School Administrators Toward Effectiveness of School Under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service, AREA 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) Emotional intelligence of educational institution administrators. Under the jurisdiction of the Educational Service Area Office Nong Bualamphu Primary Education, 2) The effectiveness of the educational institution Under the Nong Bualamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office, and 3) The effect of emotional intelligence of school administrators on the effectiveness of the school. Under the jurisdiction of Nong Bualamphu Primary Educational Service. The population group used in this research included educational institution administrators. Teachers under the jurisdiction of the Nong Bualamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office, Education 2023, number 2,107 people, which are divided according to the size of the educational institution. The sample size of 327 people. The research tool was a questionnaire. The descriptive statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean, and standard deviation and the influential statistics used the Pearson correlation coefficient.

The research results found that 1) The school administrators have a high level of emotional intelligence. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of awareness of one's own emotions had the highest mean at a high level, followed by the aspect of understanding other people's emotions and building good relationships with others. The aspect with the lowest average was the aspect of controlling one's own emotions and the aspect of creating self-motivation. 2) The effectiveness of the educational institution at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the ability to adapt to various aspects of the school environment had the highest mean at a high level, followed by the ability to develop students' positive outlook. The aspect with the lowest average is the ability to produce students with high academic achievements. And 3) The effect of the emotional intelligence of school administrators on the effectiveness of the school, it is according to the set assumptions. When considering each aspect, it was found that the first three areas had the highest level of correlation: 1) self-motivation (X₃), 2) self-control of emotions (X₂), and 3) self-awareness of emotions (X₁), statistically significant at the .01 level.
