Guidelines for School Administration to Achieve Expected Results According to SMART Goals: A case study of the Banglamung School Group 3 Under the Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

This independent study aimed to 1) Study the current and desired conditions of school administration to achieve the expected results according to the goals (SMART Goals), 2) find the guidelines for school administration to achieve the expected results according to the goals (SMART Goals), and 3) Evaluate the suitability and feasibility of Bang Lamung School Group, under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 3, from a sample of 161 people, namely, administrators and teachers in Bang Lamung School Group 3, under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 3. The tool was a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics for data analysis included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The study results found that the current state of educational administration was at a high level, the desired state was at the highest level, and the guidelines for educational administration to achieve the expected results according to the goals (SMART Goals) consisted of 1) promoting the participation of teachers, personnel, students, parents, and communities in setting goals, planning, and carrying out academic operations; 2) promoting the participation of teachers, personnel, students, parents, and communities in setting goals, planning, and carrying out budget administration; and 3) promoting a culture of lifelong learning for teachers and students, supporting the exchange of knowledge, and creating a learning community.
