Geoinformatics Learning Management in Chiang Mai Ping River Basin Area Through Land-Based Learning to Promote Disaster Literacy of High School Students

This research aims to 1) design a learning plan, and 2) study the effects of the geoinformatics learning management plan in the Ping River Basin area of Chiang Mai through land-based learning to enhance disaster literacy among high school students. The sample group in this study consisted of 30 grade 11 students in one classroom. This study collected data using purposive sampling. The research instruments included two learning management plans totaling 8 hours, an evaluation form for the appropriateness of the plans, and an evaluation form for disaster literacy
The research found that: 1) The design of the learning plan included four steps: (1) Learning Knowledge, (2) Awareness Mapping, (3) Navigating Plan, and (4) Disaster Restoration. The quality of the design was found to be most appropriate. 2) High school students who participated in the geoinformatics learning process using land-based learning for the Ping River Basin area of Chiang Mai demonstrated a good level of disaster literacy overall through the LAND Model and disaster literacy.
