DEVELOPMENT OF A BUDDHIST LEARNING ORGANIZATION CULTURE MODEL FOR ENHANCING EDUCATIONAL QUALITY IN SCHOOLS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The integration of the learning organization concept with Buddhist principles aims to establish an educational management approach that promotes collaborative learning, moral and ethical development, and sustainable educational quality improvement. This study applied Peter Senge’s concept of the learning organization together with Buddhist principles, including the Threefold Training (Tri-Sikkha), the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada 4), the Four Sublime States of Mind (Brahmavihara 4), and the Four Principles of Social Integration (Sangahavatthu 4), as the conceptual framework for developing the model. The study was conducted through the analysis of documents, related research, and the synthesis of relevant knowledge. The findings revealed that the developed Buddhist-oriented learning organization culture model was characterized as a systematic model in which various components were dynamically interconnected through participatory processes, knowledge management, and continuous reflective practices. The model consisted of six major components: 1) principles of the model, 2) objectives of the model, 3) operational systems and mechanisms,4) implementation guidelines, 5) evaluation, and 6) conditions for success. The model emphasized the development of personnel through collaborative learning alongside moral and ethical cultivation and the creation of a positive organizational culture.
