THE INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF STUDENTS DEVELOPMENT IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOL OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE BANGKOK 1

The objectives of this research were to: (1) examine the level of innovative leadership among school administrators; (2) investigate the level of student quality development in secondary schools; and (3) analyze the innovative leadership of school administrators influencing student quality development. The sample consisted of 357 teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1, selected through stratified random sampling based on school size. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient
of .993. The statistical techniques employed for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that: (1) the level of innovative leadership among school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 was at the highest level; (2) the level of student quality development in secondary schools was also at the highest level; and (3) five dimensions of innovative leadership risk management, transformational vision, building an innovative organization, the use of information and communication technology, and creativity and imagination significantly influenced student quality development at the .01 level
of statistical significance. The standardized regression coefficients (β) were .281, .235, .213, .142, and .105, respectively. Together, these five dimensions explained 79.8% of the variance in student quality development (R² = .798). The findings indicate that innovative leadership, particularly in the dimension of risk management, serves as a crucial driving force for sustainably enhancing student quality. The knowledge generated from this study provides both policy and practical implications for strengthening the capacity of school administrators urban secondary schools.
