DEVELOPING OF THE MARITAL SUCCESS SCALES FOR COUPLE

The research was to develop a measure of marital success. and study the marital success of married couples in the Eastern region. this study aimed to 1) developing of the marital success scales 2) study the level of marital success. The sample group was married couples who were legally married. The samples group were 600 people from the Eastern of Thailand, who was male or female who were legally married and have been married for more than 1 year. The sample using multi-stage sampling. The research tools used were the Marital Success Scale had an overall reliability of .893. The statistical methods used to analyze the research data were mean, standard deviation, confirm Factor Analysis. The results showed that Elements of Marriage Success. The results showed that marital success consisted of 2 elements; Marital Stability, Marital Satisfaction. The developed model can explain marital success with empirical data; χ2 = 503.75, df = 282, p-value = .00000, χ2 / df = 1.78, RMSEA = .046, RMR = .048, SRMR = .046, CFI = .91, GFI = .93, AGFI = .91, CN = 363.13. And overall, the results of the study show the level of marital success, with the mean scores on the marital success scale of married couples in the Eastern region. is at a moderate level The average value was 4.12 and when considering each aspect, it was found that stability in marriage is at a moderate level The average value was 4.11 in terms of satisfaction with marital life. is at a moderate level has an average of 4.12
