วาณิชยปรัชญาของสุวรรณภูมิเป็นแนวคิดที่สะท้อนถึงหลักการทางเศรษฐกิจและการค้าของภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ในอดีต ซึ่งได้รับอิทธิพลจากพระพุทธศาสนา บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษารากฐานทางพระพุทธศาสนาที่ส่งอิทธิพลต่อแนวคิดและวิถีปฏิบัติทางเศรษฐกิจของสุวรรณภูมิ โดยใช้หลักธรรมสำคัญ เช่น สัมมาอาชีวะ ทาน และศีล เป็นกรอบในการวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าพระพุทธศาสนาไม่ได้เป็นเพียงศาสนาที่เน้นความหลุดพ้นจากวัฏสงสารเท่านั้น แต่ยังมีบทบาทสำคัญในการกำหนดแนวทางการดำเนินชีวิตทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ทำให้เกิดรูปแบบการค้าที่ตั้งอยู่บนหลักจริยธรรมและความเป็นธรรม การศึกษานี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่าวาณิชยปรัชญาของสุวรรณภูมิสามารถเป็นแนวทางสำคัญในการสร้างระบบเศรษฐกิจที่มีความยั่งยืนและสมดุลในปัจจุบัน
