21st Century Leadership Skills of School Administrators in Schools Under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1

The purposes of this research were to study 1) Leadership skills in the 21st century of educational institution administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 2) Guidelines for developing leadership skills in the 21st century of educational institution administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The sample group used in this research included 234 school teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The instruments used were questionnaires and structured interviews. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The findings were as follows: 1) Leadership skills in the 21st century of educational administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 is overall at a high level. When considering each aspect, it is found that it is at a high level in every aspect. They are arranged in descending order of average as follows: The aspect with the highest average is shared vision skills. Followed by communication skills, Collaborative practice skills, Power development skills, Community building skills, Shared leadership skills, Caring skills, and learning skills together and the aspect with the least average value is creative skills. 2) Guidelines for developing leadership skills in the 21st century for educational institution administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 from the topic of interviews with experts The researcher brought together 29 issues on which all 3 experts had the same opinion were synthesized into 5 projects to develop leadership skills in the 21st century for school administrators as follows: (1) Interdisciplinary integrated learning project for leadership. (2) Local curriculum development projects or community activities. (3) Project to promote rhetoric. (4) Psychology promotion project. (5) Project to promote innovation in educational institutions.
