Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the operation of the student care system 2) the guidelines for developing the operation of the student care system. The population used in this research was 118 teachers and personnel of Nadee Municipal School. The sample size was determined by using Crazy and Morgan's open the table method and simple random sampling, resulting in a sample of 90 people. The research instruments included opinion questionnaires about 5-levels rating scales, and structure interviews. The statistics used for data analysis, namely percentage, average, standard deviation, content analysis.

The research results found that

The overall operation of the student care system is at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of knowing students individually had the highest average value, followed by prevention and problem solving, student development promotion, and student screening. The aspect of referrals had the lowest average value. 2. The development guidelines for the student care system at Nadee Municipal School, under Nadee Subdistrict Municipality, Samut Sakhon Province, namely the following: 1) Educational institutions should utilize a variety of tools to identify individual students and maintain an up-to-date information system. 2) Educational institutions should assess students with various risk factors. They should screen students for problems or at-risk individuals to provide initial assistance. 3) Educational institutions should provide consultation and initial assistance students with at-risk groups and students problems groups. They should organize activities to prevent and address problems within these students. 4) Educational institutions should organize activities that promote students according to their aptitudes and interests. They should also monitor the results of student promotion and development. 5) Educational institutions should monitor the results of referrals to students with problems for assistance. They should collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure students receive continuous assistance.
