INTERNAL SUPERVISION OF PRAYAMONTHATURADSRIPIJIT SCHOOL UNDER BANGKOK

Abstract

This research aims to study the internal supervision  at Prayamonthaturadsripijit School, which is under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The objectives of this research are (1) To study the internal supervision of Prayamonthaturadsripijit School, under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. (2)To explore the development strategies for the internal supervision at  Prayamonthaturadsripijit School, under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. This is a descriptive research study. The sample group consists of 139 government teachers at Prayamonthaturadsripijit School,  Metropolitan Administration. The research instruments include a questionnaire and a structured interview. The data analysis methods used in this study include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The research findings are as follows

 1)The internal supervision at Prayamonthaturadsripijit School under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration generally has a high average score. When examined by specific areas, the area with the highest average was professional development, followed by direct assistance to teachers, while the lowest average was in action research in the classroom.

 2) Guidelines for the development of internal supervision at  Prayamonthaturadsripijit School, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, are as follows: (1) Organize training to raise awareness of the importance of analyzing individual differences among students for teachers and personnel. (2) Organize training to raise awareness of the importance of teamwork, supervise and monitor work, create a good working atmosphere, and always build morale. (3) Organize training on the use of modern information technology, create a form to analyze teachers and personnel’s technological capabilities to set guidelines for professional development. (4) When the school curriculum is complete, present it to the school committee and inform the community about the curriculum’s focus points to promote and support various activities in the curriculum. (5) Establish a committee or team responsible for supervising, monitoring, and providing advice on classroom research, with regular monitoring of research results.
