The Internal Supervision Process in Singsamut School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chonburi Rayong

Abstract

The purposes of this study were : 1) to examine the internal supervision process at Singsamut School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chonburi Rayong,
2) to explore guidelines for developing the internal supervision process at Singsamut School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chonburi Rayong. The research
samples consisted of 154 teachers at Singsamut School. The research instruments included questionnaires and structured interviews. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as content analysis.

The research results revealed that :

1)The internal supervision process at Singsamut School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chonburi Rayong, on average, was rated at a high level overall. The highest-rated aspect was academic development, followed by teamwork development, and the lowest-rated aspect was classroom action research.

2) Guidelines for developing the internal supervision process at Singsamut School were as follows : (1) promote the collection of learning management data through classroom observation to evaluate strengths and areas for improvement, (2) promote the establishment of Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to encourage teachers to exchange academic experiences, (3) encourage teachers to create and disseminate their own innovations,
(4) manage school curriculum emphasizing the participation of teachers, administrators, students, parents, and the community (5) promote the systematic collection, analysis, and application of classroom research findings.
