Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to study 1) the level of authority exercised by the administrators of Wat Nong Kho Community School under the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, and 2) the development guidelines for the exercise of authority by the administrators of Wat Nong Kho Community School under the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, based on the concepts of French and Raven (1959, pp. 261-264). The population for this study consists of teachers and educational personnel, specifically the teachers and educational staff of Wat Nong Kho Community School under the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, totaling 128 individuals. The sample group includes 97 teachers and educational personnel from the same school. The tools used for data collection include questionnaires and structured interviews. The statistical methods used for data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The research results found that

1. The level of authority exercised by the administrators of Wat Nong Kho Community School, under the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, is generally high. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest average is in the area of expert power, followed by reward power, and the lowest is in legal power.

1. The guidelines for developing the authority of the administrators of Wat Nong Kho Community School, under the Office of Education of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, are as follows: (1) Administrators should provide rewards to teachers and staff every year. (2) Administrators should possess a respectable personality. (3) Administrators should be proactive in their self-development consistently. (4) Administrators should implement policies into practice.
