Abstract

This research aimed to study (1.) to study the transformational leadership of the administrators of Horwang School, Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, Bangkok, and (2.) to study the guidelines for developing the transformational leadership of the administrators of Horwang School, Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, Bangkok, by studying the transformational leadership concept of Bass and Avolio. The researcher followed the steps as follows: The population was 220 teachers of Horwang School,. The researcher created 2 questionnaires and interview forms.

          The results showed that

1. The leadership in change of the administrators of Horwang School, Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Bangkok Area 2, the overall average was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest average was in the aspect of ideological influence, followed by the aspect of intellectual stimulation, and the lowest was in the aspect of inspiration.
2. It was found that the guidelines for leadership development for change of the administrators of Horwang School, Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Bangkok Area 2, according to the opinions of the three experts, were: (1) promote personnel to develop themselves in their professions; (2) follow up and encourage personnel at all levels while working; (3) administrators and teachers work together to plan and find solutions to problems; (4) provide advice and suggestions on how to help personnel.
