THE MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE BANGKOK 1

Abstract

The objective of this research were (1) the management of information system in schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1 and (2) to study find ways to improve the management of information system in schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The sample used in the research was 86 teachers in schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1 Group 3. The research instrument was a 5-level evaluation scale questionnaire and a structured interview form by interviewing experts and the reliability of 0.97 The statistics used in the data analysis include frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The results found that :

1. The management of information system in schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1, individually and collectively, was found at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest priority is collection of data, followed by data Auditing. The side with the lowest is processing data.

2. The approaches to The management of information system in schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1 found that multiple the guidelines. The researcher synthesized into a project to develop the guidelines to develop the implementation of student care and support system as follows (1) Projects to develop information technology capabilities of teachers and educational personnel (2) Projects to promote information technology in educational institutions and (3) Projects to organize information technology systems in educational institutions
