The THE ADMINISTRATION OF SUPPLIES IN THE SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE UDON THANI

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) To study the condition of the administration of supplies in school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Udon Thani, and 2) To suggest guidelines for the development of the administration of supplies in school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Udon Thani. The population used in this study were chief procurement officers, procurement officers, and assistant procurement officers in schools under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Udon Thani, totaling 140 people. The data collection tools consisted of a questionnaire and a structured interview. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

          The research results found that

1. The overall condition of the administration of supplies in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Udon Thani, was at a high level on average. When considered by aspect, the highest average was found in procurement planning and requirements determination, followed by procurement distribution, while the lowest was in procurement maintenance.
2. Guidelines for Developing Supplies Management: 1) Schools should create a clear action plan with all sides participation. 2) Administrators must provide continuous training on procurement, laws, and technology. 3) Schools can seek expert assistance for inspections if lacking personnel. 4) Large schools should consider hiring professional procurement officers. 5) Teachers and students should be encouraged to use resources efficiently. 6) Administrators must ensure transparency and compliance with regulations. 7) Integrating information systems and technology will enhance efficiency and speed in procurement management.
