A Study of Student Characteristics for Cooperative Education at Kimpton Ketale Hotel, Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province.

Abstract

A research study on the characteristics of students working on a cooperative study of the Kimpton Ketale Hotel, Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province. This research has the following objectives; 1.To study the characteristics of students working in cooperative education of the Kimpton Ketale Hotel, Koh Samui District Surat Thani Province in the amount of 4 aspects, consisting of 1)morality, ethics, 2) knowledge, 3) human relations, and 4) communication and technology use, and 2.To study the acceptance level of cooperative education students. The sample group participated in this research consisting of 30 employees of Kimpton Ketale Hotel, Samui, Surat Thani Province. Moreover,the tool used in this research was the questionnaire. More importantly, the questionnaire was developed by 3 experts to ensure the quality of the tool. Having said that, the questionnaire has the IOC value of.96. The tool was tested with a lookalike sample group, however not a sample of 30 people. A confident rate from a lookalike sample group was .872 which is greater than.75.The results of the research showed that the personnel of the Kimpton Ketale Hotel, Koh Samui District Surat Thani Province has a high overall level of acceptance of the characteristics of students working in cooperative education.
Furthermore, when considering each aspects we found that the level of morality and ethics of students working in cooperative education was at a high level. In addition, the human relations aspect was at a high level for the characteristics of students working in cooperative education. In terms of the communications and the use of technology, the characteristics of students working on cooperative education were at a high level. Lastly, the general knowledge of characteristics of students working on cooperative education was at a high level respectively.
