Learning Ecosystem for Social Studies Teaching Application
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the components and significance of learning ecosystems in social studies teaching, present implementation guidelines, and examine successful case studies of learning ecosystem management in social studies education. The research methodology involved document analysis and case studies from both Thailand and international contexts. The findings reveal that learning ecosystems in social studies teaching comprise five key components: (1) stakeholder mindset transformation, (2) personnel and organizational readiness development, (3) learning-conducive environment and technology management, (4) appropriate learning methods and content design, and (5) participatory learning culture establishment. Successful implementation of learning ecosystems requires the integration of digital technology and artificial intelligence, context-based learning management, development of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and promotion of interdisciplinary knowledge integration. Key success factors include administrators' academic leadership, systematic and continuous teacher development, strong collaborative networks, and appropriate technology application. For successful learning ecosystem development, educational institutions should implement systematic and continuous approaches, focusing on multi-stakeholder participation, enhancement of digital competencies for teachers and learners, and development of sustainable learning cultures.
