Main Article Content
Abstract
This academic article aims to study the concepts, theories, and key components of Buddhist-oriented educational administration that seeks to enhance a learning organization culture in secondary schools. The study emphasizes the integration of learning organization concepts with Buddhist principles in order to improve educational quality in accordance with the Thai social context and the changes of the 21st century. This study employs a documentary analysis approach by examining related documents, concepts, theories, and research studies, covering theories of model development, organizational culture, learning organizations, 21st-century education management, and Buddhist principles in Buddhism. The findings revealed that Buddhist-oriented educational administration aimed at enhancing a learning organization culture requires several key components, including ethical leadership, the development of a shared vision, the promotion of collaborative learning among personnel, the establishment of cooperative networks, and the application of Buddhist principles in administration and management. These principles include the Four Bases of Success Iddhipāda 4, the Four Sublime States of Mind Brahmavihāra 4, the Four Principles of Social Integration Saṅgahavatthu 4, and the Seven Qualities of a Good Person Sappurisadhamma 7. Such principles contribute to the development of the potential of administrators, teachers, and educational personnel, enabling them to continuously learn and develop their organizations. Furthermore, 21st-century education management plays a significant role in developing learners’ critical thinking, communication skills, technological literacy, and lifelong learning abilities.
