Digital Leadership Based on the Threefold Wisdom for Enhancing School Administrators Competencies

Abstract

In the digital age, educational administration faces rapid technological and social changes. Therefore, administrators need a holistic leadership framework. The Threefold Wisdom (Prajña 3) – Sutamaya Prajña, Chintamaya Prajña, and Bhavanamaya Prajña – is a crucial tool that enables administrators to learn, analyze, and act systematically. Applying this framework enhances competence in vision, infrastructure management, and educational innovation, leading to effective and sustainable digital-era educational administration                   This article examines the concept of digital leadership, linking it to the Threefold Wisdom to strengthen                     the competence of educational administrators, using a literature review and synthesis approach. The findings indicate that applying the Threefold Wisdom as a framework for holistic digital leadership development – ​​namely: 1) Sutamaya Prajña, emphasizing openness to new information and learning to define an appropriate ICT vision; 2) Chintamaya Prajña, focusing on analytical thinking and designing strategies to manage ICT infrastructure and build organizational culture; and 3) Bhavanamaya Prajña, emphasizing practical action, serving as a role model in technology use, and promoting innovation within the school – effectively and sustainably enables administrators to develop digital leadership in the 21st century.
