Abstract

The purpose of this article was the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Bangkok, Thailand is responsible for promoting and supporting services and organizing activities in sports, recreation, music, libraries of arts and culture, and tourism to develop a good quality of life for the people. There are 34 recreation centers throughout Bangkok, which are places that Bangkok has arranged as welfare for the people in Bangkok. They are centers for learning standard and modern recreation and sports activities. Recreational activities are a medium for family members to do activities together happily. Children and youth have the opportunity to develop their quality of life and learn outside the classroom systematically. They use their free time to their advantage. They are creative spaces for people of all ages. There are a variety of activities to choose from according to suitability, which is in line with the 20-year development plan of Bangkok, Phase 3 (2023 - 2027), Dimension 1; public services, Strategy 1; creating a safe city and resilient to crises. Sub-strategy 1.5 Healthy City Objective 1.6.6.3 Develop services and organize activities that are diverse and meet the needs of the people and are in line with the policy of the Bangkok Governor Mr.Chadchart Sittipunt, 9 aspects, 9 good policies (Kao dan Kao Dee in Thai) on good health, development issue 1; support and develop activities to promote community health in all activity groups. Recreation and sports activities are one of the activities that many members of the recreation center are interested in because they are not complicated activities, can enhance physical health, can do activities together happily, have fun, and promote unity in the group.
