Integrating the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to Solve Teachers’ Debt Problems

Abstract

The purpose of this article was on the integration of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to solve the problem of teacher debt. Moderation is based on carelessness, rational and builds the immune system. They are persevering, intelligent, and ready to respond to changes from the outside world's conditions, environment, and culture very well in living and behaving, performing the duties of a teacher and then having a debt problem. The knowledge and ability of teachers to perform their duties will also decrease. Development according to the philosophy of self-sufficiency economy consists of consider moderation, rationality, good immunity in yourself, as well as use knowledge, prudence and morality to make decisions. The philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy has 4 parts as follows: 1) Moderation, which is the application of the principle of moderation. Economical fastening reduce costs in all aspects, 2) reduce the luxury of living seriously. Rationality is a deliberate decision adhere to the profession with accuracy. Honesty, even if they are in a shortage of livelihood, 3) immunity preparing yourself to deal with upcoming changes refrain from competing for benefits or competing in trade or occupations in a violent manner, 4) give up competing for benefits or compete in trade and occupation in a fierce fight. Having knowledge, pursuing knowledge, and increasing income to the point of self-sufficiency is an important goal. Morality consists of awareness of morality, honesty and patience, be persevering and use wisdom in life, behave in a good way, reduce all temptations.
