Abstract

The objective of this article is to introduce the concept of utilizing the Kodály approach to teach Thai folk melodies in order to improve cultural learning. Through the adaptation of folk literature and the integration of Kodály-based music note learning activities, the study emphasizes the importance of singing and the selection of melodies that are suitable for the students' developmental stage and age. The results indicate that the Kodály method's utilization of Thai folk melodies not only facilitates the development of musical skills among students but also effectively fosters cultural awareness and appreciation.
