Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of acoustic and electronic music in the digital era, focusing on the application of innovative technologies such as VCV Rack and Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) to convert analog signals into digital form. The process involves transforming acoustic sound energy into electrical signals via microphones, followed by PCM to manage and adjust the sound through specialized hardware and software. The expected outcome is to expand creative possibilities and enhance the diversity of digital music sounds. However, challenges arise in preserving the quality and naturalness of acoustic sound as it undergoes digital signal conversion and processing.
