Niras Suphan : The Composition of String Quintet and Percussion

Creative research article on Niras Suphan : String quintet and Percussion composition is a composition that was created by using Niras Suphan of Sunthorn Phu when he was ordained as a monk traveled on a boat to do alchemy in Suphanburi. The author brought to create a new melody. The composition uses 5 Western string instruments lines includes 2 violins, viola, cello and double bass. Has been added tone color with pitch percussions: Glockenspiel, Vibraphone, Xylophone, and Marimba.  The author takes 15 Niras Suphan only during the time that Sunthorn Phu left the Theptidaram temple cruised a boat along the river and canals to Tha Chang.

The composition consists of 3 Movements: 1^st Movement : Destination (Chapters 1-5), 2^nd Movement : Along the Way (Chapters 6-10), and 3^rd Movement : Inexhaustible (Chapters 11-15), there are composition techniques including: syllabic rhythmic, intervals, melismatic, polyrhythm, repetition, and imitation.
