Development of Teaching and Learning of International String Instruments in the Southern Region Through Short Course Training Activities

Abstract

This academic article aims to present the potential academic development of teachers that teach stringed instruments through short course training activities. The guidelines for assembling stringed ensembles for primary and secondary teachers will be activities to develop skills for teaching and learning of stringed instruments in various schools.There is also the importance to develop the learning and teaching of stringed instruments in various schools in the southern region. This is the mission according to the academic services of Songkhla Rajabhat University. The teacher’s role is important to the students of stringed instruments, and they have been accepted by society for a long time. Organizing these activities has received the attention of the teachers in the southern region to develop and organize others that could potentially teach and learn how to play stringed instruments. This is because there are very few training activities for students learning how to play stringed instruments. Songkhla Rajabhat University realized the importance to develop teachers that could potentially help students learn to play stringed instruments.Teachers are important to help students learn. From the results of the evaluation of the training activities, it was found that the teachers of stringed instruments were at the highest level of satisfaction.
