Abstract

Musical identity connected individuals to society meanwhile, today's capitalist society the origin of popular music style is from the coordination between the investors, productive resources, technologies, media, and consumers. Popular music is the result of a social cultural product that is capitalism able to extend and dominate people.

This article is to identify the relationship between people’s social phenomena using several theories and frameworks, namely, the usage of music to convey meaning and the concept, which songs and music are employed to construct such reality systematically in order to catch the memory of societies. The author’s wish is that the article will reveal the complexion of love song in capitalism.
