Improving Sight-Reading to Enhance Saxophone Playing Skills

The academic article on improving sight-reading to enhance saxophone playing skills is aimed at presenting the practice guidelines for improving sight-reading including the elements, sight-reading practice, choosing the right saxophone fingering system for the scale or exercises by giving samples to improve the individual skills and giving practice guidelines for daily life. The findings revealed that the player took time, patience, and discipline in applying knowledge and sight-reading for saxophone practice. The player should have basic knowledge of saxophone for practicing easily as it focused on the scale, and it could be applied for another scale practice as well.
