Development of a Flipped Classroom Activity Set To Enhance Khlui Phiang or Playing Skills for Grades 5 Student

Abstract

This research aimed to develop and evaluate the efficiency of a flipped classroom activity set designed to enhance Khlui Phiang-or playing skills for Grade 5 students. The study employed a pre-experimental research design using a one-group experimental model. The objective was to develop and assess the efficiency of the flipped classroom activity set based on the predetermined criterion of 80/80.

The sample consisted of 22 Grade 5 students enrolled in the Music course during the 2025 academic year at Wat Pong Khae School. The participants were selected through purposive sampling because they were currently studying music and were able to participate in all learning activities throughout the research period. The research instruments included six flipped classroom activity sets for enhancing Khlui Phiang-or playing skills, a pre-test and post-test, and a practical skills assessment form. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and efficiency evaluation based on the E1/E2 criterion of 80/80. The results revealed that the flipped classroom activity set achieved an efficiency score of 84.98/86.14, which exceeded the established criterion of 80/80. Therefore, the developed activity set was considered effective in enhancing Khlui Phiang-or playing skills among Grade 5 students.
