Abstract

This article focuses on analyzing the music of Bass Trombone.  Bastasia  was written by Steven Verhelst. Teasured a tuba with solo bass trombone, creating a harmonious sound with the Trombone Ensemble. The structure of the piece can be divided into 9 sections: (1) Introduction                      (2) Transitional I (3) Theme (4) Transitional II (5) Variation I                                   (6) Transitional III (7) Variation II (8) Transitional IV and (9) Coda. Each of which It has different distinctive characteristics.
