Transmission Process in So-samsai of Assistant Professor Dr. Ratchavit Musicarun

Abstract

This article presents the study of the process of transmission in Saw Sam Sai of Assistant Professor Dr. Ratchavit Musicarun using the concept of music education and using interviews to collect data.
The results found that the process of transmission in Saw Sam Sai of Assistant Professor Dr. Ratchavit Musicarun is devided into 4 parts as follows 1) On the part of teacher, it was found that He started learning Thai music in Grade 5, starting with Ranat Ek and so duang. He studied so-u with Khru Chaluay Jiyajan and Saw Sam Sai with Khru Charernjai Sundaravadin. When he was studying at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. He has a recording works, performance control and academic work. 2) On the part of learner, it was found that there are both formal and non-formal learners. 3) On the part of Content, it was found that There is a sequence of songs to be broadcasted in levels including standard songs, general songs, special songs and solo song และ 4) On the part of teaching and learning, it was found that There is a one-on-one method of teaching, both adhering to the traditional teaching style and applying it to have a unique teaching style and also instill morals and ethics in learners which learners can apply knowledge to their daily life.
