Abstract

Ramthon is a traditional Thai folk performance that enhances elderly well-being through physical mental and social engagement. Rhythmic movements improve physical health while musical elements stimulate cognition and reduce stress. Additionally Ramthon fosters community participation and alleviates loneliness. However challenges remain in preserving and transmitting this tradition to younger generations. This article explores adaptation strategies to ensure its sustainability in modern society.
