พื้นที่เสียงดนตรีไทยในสังคมเมือง: เครื่องมือวิจัยทางดนตรี

บทความนี้มุ่งอธิบายพลวัตของดนตรีไทยในสังคมเมือง ผ่านแนวคิดเรื่อง“พื้นที่เสียงดนตรี” ซึ่งได้ศึกษาข้อมูลระหว่างปี พ.ศ.2567-2569 ในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานครชี้ให้เห็นว่าเสียงดนตรีไทยสามารถเกิดขึ้น เคลื่อนย้าย และแปรรูปได้ตามเงื่อนไขการเปลี่ยนแปลงของเมือง ทั้งในมิติความหมาย การปฏิบัติ และการจัดการพื้นที่วัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย ปรากฏการณ์ดังกล่าวทำให้การศึกษาดนตรีไทยในเมืองไม่อาจจำกัดอยู่เพียงตัวบทเพลงหรือรูปแบบการบรรเลง หากต้องพิจารณาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คน บริบทการรับฟัง บทบาทของพื้นที่ และความคาดหวังของผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง โดยเฉพาะใน “พื้นที่วัฒนธรรม” ที่พบช่องว่างการสื่อสารระหว่าง ผู้แสดงกับผู้ชม นักท่องเที่ยวควบคู่กับแรงกดดันให้สร้างสรรค์รูปแบบร่วมสมัย บทความจึงเสนอให้พื้นที่เสียงดนตรี ทำหน้าที่เป็นแกนกลาง ในการพัฒนาเครื่องมือวิจัยทางดนตรีแบบบูรณาการ โดยใช้เป็นหน่วยวิเคราะห์ที่เชื่อมเครื่องมือภาคสนามเชิงคุณภาพ การวิเคราะห์เสียงและการแสดง เครื่องมือเชิงพื้นที่และเครือข่าย ตลอดจนการพิจารณานโยบายและคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม เพื่อให้การเก็บข้อมูลและการวิเคราะห์สามารถเปรียบเทียบข้ามบริบทได้อย่างเป็นระบบ และยกระดับการวิจัยจากการบรรยายกรณีศึกษาไปสู่การอธิบายโครงสร้างและพลวัตของดนตรีไทยในเมืองอย่างตรวจสอบได้
