Academic Administration of School Administrators in Small School Groups Under the Office of the Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area 1

This research in this study 1) to study the level of opinions on academic administration among administrators of small-sized schools and 2) to compare the state of academic administration among administrators of small-sized schools under the Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, categorized by school location and work experience. This was a quantitative study, with a sample consisting of 103 administrators and teachers. Statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. When statistically significant differences were found, pairwise comparisons were conducted using Scheffe’s method.
The research findings revealed that 1) the overall opinion on academic administration was at a moderate level. When considering specific aspects, when considering specific aspects, ranked from high to low as follows; school curriculum development, learning process development, assessment and credit transfer, research and educational quality development, and internal quality assurance. 2) The comparison of academic administration conditions in small-sized schools based on school location showed no significant differences in the overall or specific aspects between schools located within and outside municipal areas. In terms of work experience, respondents with 5 to 10 years of experience had the highest average scores, followed by those with more than 11 years, and then those with less than 5 years. The results from the ANOVA test indicated that there was at least one significantly different group based on work experience at the 0.05 level. A pairwise comparison using Scheffe's method showed that respondents with 5 to 10 years of experience scored significantly higher than those with less than 5 years of experience at the same 0.05 level.
