This scholarly article aims to review and synthesize conceptual knowledge regarding the role of human resource management in driving digital transformation (HR Digital Transformation) amid rapid changes in digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging work patterns. Employing a conceptual literature review approach, the study systematically analyzes peer-reviewed research published between 2020 and 2025 from both domestic and international sources, focusing on human resource management, organizational digital transformation, and organizational behavior. The synthesis reveals that HR Digital Transformation is not merely the adoption of digital technologies in HR processes. Rather, it constitutes a strategic and systemic transformation that elevates the HR function from an administrative role to a strategic partner, change agent, and developer of human capital within the organization. The article proposes an integrated conceptual framework that links four core dimensions: (1) redefining HR roles and structures to serve as drivers of organizational digital strategy; (2) building digital capabilities among employees through reskilling and upskilling; (3) designing flexible HR practices to support hybrid and remote working arrangements; and (4) ensuring ethical governance, transparency, and fairness in the use of employee data and digital technologies. The framework demonstrates that when these four dimensions are managed in an integrated manner, they enhance organizational agility, efficiency, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability, while simultaneously promoting employee well-being and engagement. This study contributes theoretically by providing a foundation for future empirical research and offers practical policy implications for organizations seeking to develop sustainable HR strategies in the digital era.
