Developing a Strategic Management Guidelines on Handling Emergency Incidence for Kindergartens of Chengdu Fujin Kindergarten, China

The objective of this research was to develop strategic management guidelines of handling emergency incidence for kindergartens of Chengdu Fujin Kindergarten, China. Cheng Du fujin Kindergarten was used as a case study. The samples were divided into two groups, namely 1) 80 teachers, and 2) 286 parents in the kindergarten. The research instruments employed questionnaires. The information and data collected were analyzed through the content analysis method and presented in terms of frequency, mean and standard deviation. The finding indicated that: 1) problems and needs of handling emergency incidence for kindergartens of Chengdu Fujin Kindergarten, China were at the “Highest” level; 1.1) You cannot take emergency evacuation measures in the event of a fire. 1.2) You do not conduct regular human emergency drills. 1.3) You think the school’s emergency drill plan is clear. 1.4) You are unable to remain calm and rationally assess the situation when faced with an emergency. 1.5) You can obtain emergency information through school notices, websites, text, messages, etc. 2) strategic management guidelines of handling emergency incidence for kindergartens were 2.1) Prevention focuses on creating a safe and supportive school environment. Schools should implement mental health promotion programs and train staff to identify at-risk students. 2.2) Preparation and planning to provide a structured response during emergencies. Schools must establish a Critical Incident Management Team (CIMT) with clear roles, including communication, media management, and student support.
