Risk Indicators and Their Reflection on the Actual State of Risk Management for Schools under the Jurisdiction of Educational Personnel in the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of risk indicators 2) to study the level of actual risk management reflection in schools, and 3) to examine the relationship between risk indicators and the reflection of actual risk management in schools among educational personnel under the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample group consisted of 385 educational personnel. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.

The findings were as follows 1) The overall level of risk indicators was at a relatively high level. When considered by category, the highest was financial and budgetary risk, followed by operational risk, strategic risk, and the lowest was compliance with laws/regulations risk.2) The overall level of reflection of actual risk management in schools was also at a relatively high level. By category, the highest was risk acceptance, followed by risk transfer, risk reduction/control, and the lowest was risk avoidance.3)The relationship between risk indicators and the reflection of actual risk management in schools among educational personnel under the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was found to be positively correlated at a moderate level, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
