Abstract

This academic article aims to study, analyze, and present guidelines for developing sustainability for educational partnership networks within the Educational Service Area Office (ESAO). The author presents concepts related to: 1) educational partnership networks; 2) the management of these networks by the ESAO to achieve sustainability; and 3) the factors and conditions affecting the success and sustainability of inter-organizational collaborations. The findings reveal that the guidelines for developing network sustainability consist of two key components. The first is the network management process by the ESAO, which requires five strategies: developing network leadership, creating an open and transparent communication system, investing in social capital, developing flexible and fair governance mechanisms, and building the network's self-reliance. The second component includes the factors and conditions that result from this management process and affect sustainability: having a shared vision and clear goals; trust and strong relationships; an appropriate governance structure and leadership; open and effective communication; adequate and sustainable resources; a perception of mutual benefits and value; and adaptability and flexibility. The knowledge gained will be beneficial for ESAO executives and personnel in planning and implementing strategies to build strong partnership networks, leading to the sustainable development of educational quality.
