PARTICIPATORY MANAGEMENT TO EXPAND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BY THE KRABI PROVINCIAL OFFICE OF LEARNING ENCOURAGEMENT

This article aims to study the participatory management approach of the Krabi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement that affects the expansion of educational opportunities for local people by using the integrated management principle with the concept of participation of all sectors, including the public, private, and public sectors. This study uses document analysis and knowledge synthesis, as well as the participatory management approach that is appropriate for the context of the Krabi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement In this academic article, the author presents 1) the participatory management principle, 2) concepts and theories related to participatory management, 3) concepts and theories related to creating educational opportunities, 4) the concept of lifelong learning, and 5) the lifelong learning policy of the Krabi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement. The knowledge from this article will be useful in expanding educational opportunities by promoting all sectors to play a role in education management, resulting in development that is consistent with local needs, reducing educational inequality, and creating comprehensive and sustainable learning opportunities for people of all ages in the area.
