Buddhist Breast Myths: Illusion, Duty, Truth, and Sexual Rights

Abstract

This academic article aims to analyze the dimensions of public communication in various issues related to politics, economics, society, and culture. It shows that the breast has a role and function associated with being a woman, which is related to the role of being a wife when having a husband, and being a mother when having children. In addition, breast also communicates the image through gender, male and female, political space, and breast size in relation to career and income. Therefore, breasts are related to the role and rights of body ownership that define the occurred value or worth. The body of knowledge from this article found that breasts are defined as roles and functions that should occur as a wife, mother, career, and income, including not giving value but emphasizing benefits or creating value, even without breasts, they can still be useful. Knowledge from this matter reflects gender status, the role of women as wives, which shows contradictions in political issues or letting go to find the true value of life.
